Signal Group gas analyser enables carbon capture pilot
Following several abortive attempts to monitor potentially hazardous methane gas in a boiler’s emissions feeding a pilot carbon capture unit at a natural gas combustion
In addition to reference method gas analysers, Signal Group also manufactures a full range of sample handling, calibration and test instruments.
One of Signal Group’s core competencies is the manufacture of gas analysers for combustion testing and research. The company’s broad range of products has been developed over 40 years; working closely with customers to meet research, market and regulatory requirements. Typically, this research is undertaken in University departments working in thermal dynamics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, catalyst research etc. In addition, Signal Group analysers are employed for R&D purposes by the manufacturers of fuel burning equipment such as aero gas turbines, stationary diesel engines, off-highway diesel engine vehicles, incinerators, boilers and stoves.
Signal Group’s comprehensive range of products allows the company to offer either individual analysers or complete bespoke systems in a turnkey contract with maintenance agreements and scheduled service visits. The long-term mutually beneficial partnerships that have developed between Signal and its customers have become a core strength of the business. With a deep understanding of the technical requirements, Signal frequently supplies additional analysers, test/ calibration equipment and sample lines to enhance the capabilities of customers’ experimental test rigs.
The S4 SOLAR Heated FID VOC analyser employs Flame Ionisation Detectors (FID) technology and is designed for a standard 19” rack, with heated and non-heated options. A dual detector version is also available for the simultaneous measurement of both methane and non-methane hydrocarbons.
Multi-gas NDIR analyser series for industrial gas applications, combustion research, emissions monitoring and gas purity measurement (with optional oxygen analyser).
In addition to reference method gas analysers, Signal Group also manufactures a full range of sample handling, calibration and test instruments; making Signal a one-stop-shop for emissions monitoring equipment.
